Job summary

First Mid Bank & Trust is seeking a customer service oriented banking professional to support branch operations. You will greet customers, process transactions, open accounts, and balance the cash drawer while upholding policy and security standards.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, compliance training, and delivering a helpful, personalized banking experience to clients in the local community.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required compliance and training curriculum to be proficient in basic account opening processes.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall satisfaction.
• Greet customers and make them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Process transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, cashier’s checks).
• Maintain cash drawer and balance daily; assist with branch duties.
• Open and change accounts as requested by customers.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and refer to appropriate业务 lines.
