Columbia Bank in Olympia, WA is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling routine banking transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. You will work under the Branch Manager’s guidance to deepen client relationships and identify opportunities to offer bank products and services.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with procedures, and proactive client engagement, with benefits and on-site work at our Union Ave location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with numbers and written instructions.
• Able to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer and support ATM and night drop processes to maintain integrity.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Interact with clients, anticipate needs, and offer proactive solutions per service standards.
• Continuously deepen knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and services.
