KIPP New Orleans Schools (KNOS) seeks passionate teachers to join a growing network of colleges and career-prep public charter schools. You will deliver standards-aligned instruction, use data to guide planning, and differentiate for diverse learners, including IEP/504 and multilingual students.

Collaboration with DSS/ESL staff and a focus on equity are essential. You will contribute to a positive school culture, participate in professional development, and engage families to support student

Qualificações

• Offers are contingent upon successful completion of a professional reference check, proof of identity and work authorization, a state background check, and verification of teaching experience.
• Two years of teaching experience in urban, open enrollment schools is strongly preferred.
• State issued teaching credential is required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM and communicate daily objectives and success criteria.
• Use data to drive instruction; analyze daily work, interims, and state assessments; reteach and extend as needed.
• Differentiate and scaffold for diverse learners including IEP/504 plans and ESL coordination.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback and maintain accurate, transparent grades.
• Establish safe, joyful routines and reflect growth mindset across the classroom.
• Engage families with regular updates and translations as needed.
