KIPP New Orleans Schools (KNOS) seeks energetic teachers to join a mission-driven network serving ~5,000 students across 13 schools. You will deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction, plan engaging lessons, and use data to tailor supports for diverse learners in a fast-paced urban environment.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree and preferably a state teaching credential, with a commitment to equity, professional growth, and collaboration with families and colleagues.

• Ability to meet background check and work authorization requirements

Mansioni

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM; communicate daily objectives and success criteria; check for understanding throughout.
• Plan/adapt units and lessons that build conceptual understanding; script questions, models, exemplars, and anticipated misconceptions.
• Use data to drive instruction: analyze daily work, interims, and state assessments; reteach, spiral, and extend.
• Differentiate and scaffold using diverse strategies; coordinate with DSS/ESL staff.
• Structure purposeful practice with independent work, small groups, centers, and peer discourse.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback tied to rubrics; maintain accurate grades and make-up work systems.
• Assessment literacy: design/implement common assessments; ensure alignment and reliability.
