Job summary

Talent Harbor is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support day-to-day customer needs while helping grow existing accounts. This role blends order management, customer service, product support, and proactive sales outreach, with 100% onsite work in Baltimore.

You’ll collaborate with customers, account managers, warehouse, purchasing, and delivery teams to ensure accurate orders and timely support, pursuing cross-sell opportunities and re-engaging inactive accounts to recover sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales or related high-volume customer-facing roles.
• Experience in wholesale distribution or building supplies is preferred.
• Experience in a retail Pro Desk environment can be a strong fit.
• Comfortable working with ERP/order management systems (SAP, Epicor, Prophet 21, or similar).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process web orders, customer POs, and trade counter requests in the ERP system.
• Provide product information, pricing, quotes, orders updates, and general support.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and delivery to track shipments and resolve issues.
• Review account activity to re-engage inactive or declining accounts and recover sales.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities based on needs and purchasing patterns.
• Assist account managers with order processing and day-to-day requests.
