Job summary

ShopRite of Milford is seeking a Bakery Associate to support the Bakery Manager in daily operations, including baking, dough handling, icing, packaging, and displaying pastries and breads. You will help maintain a clean, visually appealing department and ensure safe, efficient production to meet customer needs.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and standing for long shifts in a supermarket environment.

Qualifications

• English reading/writing/speaking ability
• Stamina to stand/walk for shifts
• Lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs
• Work in varying temperatures
• Customer interaction in a friendly manner
• Cooperate with others
• Adhere to attendance policies

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, safe bakery area
• Sanitize surfaces and equipment per QA standards
• Rotate products for freshness
• Prepare pastry/bread items and assist Bakery Manager
• Follow recipes and procedures for quality and consistency
• Handle inventory and restock ingredients as needed
• Assist in other departments as required
• Adhere to safety and company policies
