Job summary

ShopRite - Baker (Village NJ) is seeking team players to deliver a great customer experience while supporting the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging and filling of pastry and bread items. The role requires maintaining a neat, clean, and appealing department and adhering to company safety and QA standards.

You will handle inventory, pricing, and rotation to ensure freshness, while following recipes and maintaining proper sanitation and personal hygiene throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and handling food items.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience in the Bakery area.
• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations and food preparation.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Follow recipes, rotate products, and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
