Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford in New Jersey is hiring a Baker Associate to support the Bakery Manager with daily operations, baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging and filling of pastry and bread items while keeping a neat, safe and inviting department.

You will work in a team, greet customers, follow recipes, rotate stock, and maintain QA and sanitation standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work varied shifts. 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations.
• Bake, mix dough, ice, package and fill pastries and breads.
• Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing department.
• Follow recipes and rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Maintain QA and sanitation standards.
