ShopRite of Fairless Hills is seeking a Bakery Associate to support the Bakery Manager in daily operations, including baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, and filling bakery items. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, visually appealing department and adhering to safety and QA standards.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work with products and spices without allergic issues.
• Ability to tolerate dust and cleaners during housekeeping duties.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to meet time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Maintain department sanitation and QA standards.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment.
• Keep floor clear of debris and spills.
• Greet all Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Maintain and properly use all department equipment as required.
• Rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Prepare trays to Company's and Customer's satisfaction.
• Perform duties in accordance with QA hand washing standards and safety policies.
• Follow recipes to produce bakery items according to formulas or recipes.
