Job summary

ShopRite of New Milford is seeking a part of the Bakery Department team to deliver a great customer experience and assist in daily bakery operations. This role includes pricing, stocking, rotating merchandise, and maintaining a clean, visually appealing department.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, ensuring signage accuracy, and following QA and safety standards. The position may require lifting up to 50 lbs and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, organized Bakery area.
• Assist Bakery Manager with pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise.
• Ensure accurate signage and attractive displays.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Unload and transport merchandise weighing 25–50 lbs.
• Follow safety, QA, and company policy guidelines.
• Work overtime as needed and cooperate with others.
