Job summary

ShopRite of Milford is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Manager with baking, mixing dough, icing, decorating, packaging, and maintaining the display of pastry and bread items. You will ensure a clean, organized department and follow safety and QA standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures, with a focus on teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations of the department.
• Bake, mix dough, ice, package, fill and decorate pastries and bread items.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and QA standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
