Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the team and day-to-day operations, including guest experience, cake production, merchandising, and inventory control.

You will drive sales and profitability while upholding NbC standards, training staff, and ensuring a warm environment for guests and the community.

Must be able to work varied shifts and manage P&L responsibilities, with a focus on quality and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or food service.
• Experience hiring and developing teams and achieving financial objectives.
• Experience setting productivity goals, inventory par levels, and team schedules.
• Foodservice safety training certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery team and recruit/train staff to deliver superior guest experiences.
• Open and close the bakery, balance cash drawers and manage deposits.
• Coordinate special-order fulfillment for guests and corporate accounts.
• Set weekly sales goals, production plan, and staff schedules.
• Manage inventory, par levels, and control costs to maximize profitability.
• Ensure food safety, quality standards, and visual merchandising.
