Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Orlando to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. You’ll help maximize productivity, quality control, and customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include merchandising, inventory management, case rotation, and safeguarding health and safety standards. A minimum of 2 years in retail grocery with supervisory experience is required, along with flexible scheduling and strong

• Must be at least 18 with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly, with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take/deliver direction in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department and sanitize work area.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
• Stand for up to 3 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift; can lift up to 40 lbs.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory guidelines and maintain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Bakery Manager in supervising the Bakery Clerks and daily Bakery Department operations.
• Manage and merchandise the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Bakery team supervision.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays; monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and monitor Bakery product quality.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; ensure health and sanitation guidelines are followed.
