Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks, assist the Bakery Manager, and supervise daily department operations. You will drive product quality, merchandising, and customer service in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will manage scheduling, display rotations, and coordination with store teams while upholding health regulations and company standards. A strong, friendly customer focus is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with two years retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Reliable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to give and receive direction in a team environment.
• Capable of operating deli equipment and handling basic food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervising Bakery team
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and monitor product quality
• Unload/store deliveries and operate deli equipment
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
