Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. You will help manage staffing, product quality, and merchandising to drive productivity and guest satisfaction.

This role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail grocery, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 2 years' retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to stand long shifts and handle physical tasks.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure product quality.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain bakery product quality.
• Unload/store deliveries and operate bakery/deli equipment safely.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
