Job summary

Aspire Bakeries Swedesboro, NJ is seeking an Operator 2, Bakery- Starter- 3rd Shift to manage starter production processes, ensure fermentation integrity, and uphold food safety. You will document production data and maintain sanitary equipment, supporting bakery operations.

Hourly rate $21, with weekend availability and 3rd shift hours from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Prior manufacturing exposure and SAP experience are advantageous for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of manufacturing/Operator experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and process controls.
• Basic knowledge of starter mixing processes.
• Understand scale readings and production data.
• Basic math; can perform simple calculations.
• Able to operate SAP reporting systems and document data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain starter formulations per recipes and schedules.
• Monitor fermentation and temperature to ensure quality.
• Perform CIP and keep starter equipment sanitary.
• Record production, mixing, and quality data in SAP.
• Verify weights, scales, and usage for accuracy.
• Maintain GMPs, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving.
