Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, support colleagues across all areas, and ensure guests receive outstanding service while maintaining our standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork. You will coach and train team members, assist with opening/closing, handle cash, and contribute to daily reporting and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery shifts and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture reflecting the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
