Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Baton Rouge to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes, a warm guest experience, and strong store performance. You will share in leadership duties, drive sales, and help ensure NbC standards across operations.

The role emphasizes developing team members, maintaining product quality, and executing brand initiatives while contributing to a positive, guest-focused bakery culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; further education a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/food service, preferably with some leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record of creating a superior guest experience and coaching others.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize the guest experience and model superior guest engagement.
• Partner with the Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, merchandising, work environment, and inventory control.
• Assist in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure adherence to NbC standards, safety, food handling, and brand policies across operations.
• Support operational and administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and payroll processing.
