Nothing Bundt Cakes in Baton Rouge is seeking a Bakery Manager/Lead Operator to lead the team, oversee cake production, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will drive brand standards, manage inventory, and coordinate daily operations to maximize profitability.

The role emphasizes team development, hands-on leadership, and active involvement in local marketing and community engagement to bring Joy to the bakery and the neighborhood.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, business operations and guest experience in retail, hospitality or food service.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery team and day-to-day operations, ensuring guest experience and product quality.
• Open/close bakery, manage cash and deposits.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff; schedule team coverage.
• Oversee inventory, production planning, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
• Lead local marketing and community engagement initiatives.
