Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Temecula, CA is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, coach team members, and ensure guests receive outstanding service while upholding quality and cleanliness. You will open/close, handle cash, monitor inventory, and coordinate cake decoration and production with a friendly, fast-paced team.

Previous supervisory experience in food service is a plus; flexible availability is helpful.

Qualifications

Prior leadership or supervisory experience in retail/food service.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
