Job summary

Maker's Pride, LLC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for all mixing, baking, forming and packaging activities to safely produce quality products with efficient use of labor and materials on scheduled shifts.

You will lead a team, ensure GMP/SQF compliance, and monitor inventory, payroll and scheduling while driving continuous improvement. Proficiency with SAP and Kronos, strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in business preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; bakery/food/beverage is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; Kronos and SAP knowledge are advantages.
• Excellent communication, conflict management and leadership skills.
• Shift schedule including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned team and evaluate performance.
• Interview, hire and train employees; plan and direct work.
• Ensure GMP/SQF, SAP, OSHA/MiOSHA compliance; use Lean tools.
• Direct conversion of raw materials to finished products with minimal waste.
• Monitor inventory, maintain 5S environment; manage production schedules.
• Plan production operations and priorities; review data and reports.
• Resolve employee issues and disciplinary actions; coach staff.
• Attend meetings and provide presentations as needed.
• Comply with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Maintain coordination with departments to meet delivery dates.
