Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a manufacturing supervisor to lead mixing, baking, forming and packaging operations on assigned shifts. You will direct staff, plan production, monitor quality and safety, and optimize labor and material use to meet schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years supervisory experience in a bakery/food environment, strong leadership, and proficiency with SAP/Kronos and MS Office in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in business is preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; bakery/food/beverage experience a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
• Proficient in Kronos timekeeping system and SAP both pluses.
• Excellent communication, conflict management, decision-making, motivational and organizational skills required.
• Strong self-confidence and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned team of employees; direct and evaluate staff, including lead employees.
• Interview, hire and train new employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Plan production operations; establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Review production orders to determine product data and delivery dates; plan accordingly.
• Monitor GMPs and 5S environment; ensure safety, health and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain scheduling and payroll issues; resolve scheduling and attendance concerns.
• Control raw material formulas, inventory rotation and waste minimization.
• Identify and resolve operational delays; analyze data and present to management.
• Lead cost control, budget adherence and continuous improvement initiatives.
