Joseph Michaels International is hiring a Production Supervisor for a bakery operation in Rocky Mount, NC. This hands-on leadership role oversees 15–25 production employees across first, second, and third shifts, with opportunities for growth.

You will lead daily production activities, coach staff, ensure food safety and quality, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
