Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking Production Supervisors for its bakery operation in North Carolina. This hands-on leadership role oversees 15–25 production employees across first, second, and third shifts, driving safe, high-quality output while meeting daily goals.

You will work with a seasoned supervisory team, coach staff, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency; a clear path for professional growth is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in food manufacturing.
• Bakery or frozen food experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
