Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking Production Supervisors for a bakery operation on-site in Rocky Mount, NC. The role involves leading a hands-on team of about 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

You will coach and develop staff, uphold GMPs and food safety standards, and partner with maintenance and quality to resolve issues while driving efficiency and effective shift handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production supervisory experience in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Proven ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
