Nothing Bundt Cakes in Durham, NC is seeking a Bakers Assistant to ensure high-quality cakes and reliable service. You will follow NbC recipes, operate commercial bakery equipment, and assist in planning and inventory management to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates are punctual, reliable and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Training may be provided, with a focus on food safety, dress code and teamwork within a franchise environment.

Qualifications

• Understands written and verbal directions and follows recipes and procedures.
• Performs repetitious, physical tasks requiring strength and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operates bakery equipment and works near high-heat sources.
• Maintains exact measurement accuracy and adheres to tight production schedules.
• Follows health, safety, and dress code policies.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC recipes and cake production methods.
• Uses measuring tools, mixers, ovens to bake cakes.
• Prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking and monitors baking process.
• Packages, labels, stores cakes, and maintains logs.
• Assists Bakery Manager with production planning and inventory monitoring.
• Ensures quality by evaluating ingredients and finished cakes and reporting issues.
• Cleans, sanitizes, restocks workstation and prepares supplies for next shift.
• Complies with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies.
• Maintains punctual attendance and reliability.
• Works well with baker and team, showing responsibility and teamwork.
