Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection is seeking a Bakery Processing Operator in Hanover, PA to safely operate bakery processing equipment, monitor quality, and maintain production flow on the D shift.

You will read batch sheets, adjust temperatures, perform changeovers, assist with basic maintenance, follow sanitation and 5S standards, and document production records. Starting pay is $22.50 per hour with a $2 shift differential; overtime may be required and total rewards include health and 401k benefits.

• Ability to safely operate in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow batch sheets and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and food safety.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently within guidelines.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate bakery processing equipment to produce within quality and food safety standards.
• Read batch sheets and follow recipes and production instructions.
• Set up, adjust, and change over equipment as needed.
• Maintain production flow and document records accurately.
• Assist with basic maintenance and sanitation duties.
• Monitor for contamination and escalating issues to leadership.
• Move raw materials using forklifts/pallet jacks and manage inventory levels.
