Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection seeks a Bakery Processing Operator in Hanover, PA for 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Starting pay $22.50/hour with $1.00 shift differential.

You will operate bakery processing equipment, monitor quality, and maintain sanitation and safety standards. You’ll read batch sheets, follow recipes, perform changeovers, and assist with basic maintenance. overtime may be required; growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, batch sheets, and operational procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and food safety.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate bakery processing equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
• Read batch sheets and follow production instructions accurately.
• Monitor temperatures, moisture, and ingredient weights; adjust as needed.
• Perform changeovers and basic maintenance troubleshooting.
• Maintain sanitation and 5S housekeeping throughout shifts.
• Document production records and communicate issues to leadership.
• Move raw materials with forklifts/pallet jacks as required.
