Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection in Hanover, PA is seeking a Packaging Material Handler to support production by moving packaging materials, finished goods, and supplies. You will work on a rotating shift (B or D) from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a starting pay of $20.45/hour plus a $2.00 differential.

Responsibilities include reading production schedules, weighing materials, inspecting loads, operating pallet jacks, and maintaining GMP and safety procedures to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely work in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to move, transport, and stage materials accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written instructions, production schedules, and workplace procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules to determine materials and products to move or stage.
• Weigh and count materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Visually verify products and materials before transporting them.
• Operate material handling equipment to move materials through the facility.
• Support waste removal and waste tracking within the packaging area.
