Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Starter on 2nd Shift to join our production team. You will prepare and blend ingredients per established recipes, monitor dough quality, and support mixing and starter room activities to ensure efficient production and high-quality bakery products.

This role requires basic math and ability to operate bakery equipment, follow safety procedures, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow recipes, formulas, and production instructions.
• Operate production equipment and process controls.
• Monitor product quality and adjust as needed to meet specs.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and batch records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scale ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Operate and monitor mixing processes to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support starter room operations to maintain fermentation performance.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and batch documentation.
• Coordinate mixing activities to support production schedules.
• Maintain sanitary, organized, and food-safe work areas and storage.
• Promote food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout manufacturing.
