Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a full-time Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Richardson, TX store. You will work closely with the Bakery Operations Manager to build a high-energy team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and oversee staffing, inventory, and quality.

This role offers growth into bakery leadership, with opportunities to lead during peak hours and develop strong operational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Experience coaching, motivating, and developing hourly team members.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager is not present.
• Supervise, train and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
• Lead new hourly staff onboarding and initial training.
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires in the manager’s absence.
• Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control and scheduling.
• Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies’ standards and policies.
