Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Richardson, TX store. You will partner with the BOM to lead day-to-day bakery operations, coach a diverse team, and ensure outstanding guest experiences.

This role offers growth into a bakery leadership path and hands-on learning across staffing, inventory, and service excellence. You will be involved in recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance coaching, with the chance to lead the bakery during BOM absences and

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Experience coaching, motivating, and developing hourly team members.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump into bakery roles when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bakery operations with the BOM to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Step in to run the bakery independently when the BOM is away.
• Coach and develop Shift Leaders and Cookie Crew members with real-time feedback.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training to build a fully staffed team.
• Help create schedules and manage labor to meet bakery needs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and product rotation.
• Maintain high standards for quality, safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Identify opportunities to improve bakery performance with Area leadership.
