Insomnia Cookies in Orlando, FL is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced, customer-driven bakery. You’ll own the day-to-day operations, build a team, and deliver the Always Warm guest experience while driving sales and bakery performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in fast-paced customer-facing environments.
• Availability to work a bakery-oriented schedule including 2-3 mid-to-late shifts Thu–Sun.
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style ready to jump in as needed.
• Proven track record of hiring, coaching, and retaining strong teams.
• Natural hospitality sense and commitment to exceptional guest experience.
• Strong business acumen, able to set priorities and translate goals into action.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with restaurant/retail technology and business systems.
• Ability to obtain required food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bakery operation, ensuring shifts are staffed, prepared and set for success.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Own scheduling and labor execution, balancing team and business needs.
• Manage ordering, inventory, product rotation, shrink, and bakery controls.
• Lead guest experience with warm hospitality and fast, friendly service.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, and deliver drivers.
• Build a talent pipeline and growth opportunities within Insomnia.
• Take ownership of bakery performance and drive sales and KPIs.
• Partner with District Manager to solve problems and improve bakery.
