Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Store Manager in Training (MIT) to work closely with the Bakery Operations Manager and build a strong, well-trained team. You will oversee staffing, inventory, quality, cleanliness, and execution, stepping up to lead when needed and developing future bakery leaders.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring hourly teammates, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering a fast-paced, guest‑forward bakery culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality.
• Experience coaching, motivating and developing hourly team members.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bakery operations with the BOM to deliver a great guest experience.
• Independently lead the bakery when BOM is away and keep teams focused.
• Coach and develop Shift Leaders and Cookie Crew through feedback and support.
• Assist recruiting, onboarding, and training to build a full staff.
• Help create schedules and manage labor to meet bakery needs.
