Job summary

Dutchman Hospitality Group is seeking team members to bake pies and other goods in Middlebury, IN. You’ll work with established recipes, monitor oven temperatures, and help maintain quality while following production schedules.

Training is provided and on-the-job learning is key. Ideal candidates are 18+ with bakery experience a plus, able to read simple instructions, and willing to work 6:00 PM–2:00 AM with rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Previous bakery experience a plus.
• Able to communicate, read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Detail oriented.
• Read and understand recipes.
• Lift and/or move 10 to 30 pounds.
• SafeServ certification – can provide training if you don’t have it.

Responsibilities

• Bake pies and other baked goods.
• Use electric mixers and other equipment.
• Use established recipes to measure and mix ingredients.
• Regulate oven temperatures.
• Check baked goods for quality.
• Check production schedules to determine what and how much to bake.
• Replenish ingredients from storage.
• Clean shelves, bins, tables and coolers.
