Job summary

Dutchman Essenhaus in Indiana is seeking a bakery teammate to bake and prep goods, following established recipes and schedules. You will operate mixers, monitor oven temperatures, and ensure quality, while restocking ingredients and maintaining clean work areas.

The role includes on-the-job training and rotating shifts. Ideal candidates are 18+, have strong communication and detail orientation, and can read recipes accurately.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate in following recipes.
• Able to read and understand recipes.
• Physically able to lift 10 to 30 pounds.
• SafeServ certification – training can be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Baking and prepping to bake.
• Use electric mixers and other equipment.
• Use established recipes.
• Mix ingredients consistently.
• Adjust oven temperatures.
• Check baked goods for quality.
• Check production schedule to determine what and how much to bake.
• Restock ingredients.
• Clean shelves, bins, tables and coolers.
