Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2 years retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take directions in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation of work area.
• Operate deli equipment and weight/measuring tools.
• Stand up to 8 hours; lift up to 40 lbs with/without assistance.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in supervising Bakery Clerks and daily operations.
• Manage and merchandise department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls; supervise Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and product quality.
• Unload store deliveries; operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Enforce safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; train team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be proactive.
