Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead a dedicated team, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

You’ll manage staffing, inventory, special orders, and local marketing initiatives while upholding NbC standards of service and quality. This role offers a fast-paced, friendly environment with opportunities for growth and advancement across the market.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams, business operations and the guest experience in retail, hospitality or foodservice.
• Demonstrated success in hiring and developing teams, creating a superior service environment and achieving financial objectives.
• Experience in creating productivity goals, inventory par levels and team schedules, and managing costs.
• Foodservice safety training certificate (or required to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience, models superior guest engagement and fosters a positive work environment.
• Recruits and selects talent and communicates performance expectations with proper training.
• Engages frequently with team members to monitor workload and address challenges.
• Provides coaching and feedback, conducts quarterly reviews and addresses performance issues promptly.
• Delineates the role of Assistant Manager and supports bakery leadership.
• Identifies future leaders and cross-trains staff to ensure coverage.
• Maintains hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles and steps as needed.
• Open/close bakery, balance cash drawers and handle deposits.
• Manage special-order fulfillment via web and email for individuals and corporate accounts.
• Create weekly sales productivity goals, production plan and team schedule.
• Set inventory par levels, monitor stock, process weekly orders and conduct monthly inventory.
• Ensure NbC standards and safety policies are upheld in operations.
• Control expenses including labor, COGS, maintenance and supplies.
• Admin tasks including payroll, sales and inventory reporting.
