Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead the bakery team and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will support the Bakery Manager in daily operations, guide team members, maintain food quality and safety, and drive efficient service.

You will foster a positive work environment, coach staff, and help grow your career in restaurant management within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in quick-service or casual dining environments.
• Strong customer service focus with ability to train staff on guest experience.
• Experience developing teams and coaching performance.
• Experience supervising daily restaurant operations and shifts.
• Knowledge of inventory control and food cost management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bakery Manager in daily restaurant operations and team supervision.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver great guest service.
• Manage shift operations including scheduling and staffing.
• Monitor inventory, food handling, production, and ordering to reduce waste.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health regulatory compliance through training.
• Handle POS cash and card transactions and maintain cash accuracy.
• Train staff on procedures, service standards, and safety practices.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming bakery environment reflecting hospitality.
