Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Lufkin, TX is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct daily bakery operations, oversee cake production, guest experience, and merchandising, and lead a team toward exceptional service. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of leadership experience managing teams, business operations, and guest experience in retail, hospitality or food service.
• Experience hiring and developing teams, creating a superior service environment, and achieving financial objectives.
• Experience creating productivity goals, inventory par levels, and team schedules, and managing costs.
• Foodservice safety training certificate (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize the guest experience and model superior guest engagement.
• Recruit and select talent, communicate performance expectations, and provide training.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and quarterly reviews to develop team performance.
• Define roles (Assistant Manager) and delegate responsibilities for bakery leadership.
• Monitor inventory, schedule coverage, and ensure compliance with product, service and safety standards.
• Manage controllable expenses (labor, COGS, maintenance) and perform payroll, sales, and inventory reporting.
