Job summary

Aspire Bakeries Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Tech 3, Bakery Maintenance to join our team. You will perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and support reliability across the facility to minimize downtime and keep operations safe.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related problems, executing major equipment overhauls, and documenting activities in our CMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3 years mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial or manufacturing machinery, OR 5 years equivalent experience
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and machine layouts
• Experience in at least two technical areas: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or food process controls
• Knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment to support high uptime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related issues
• Execute or assist with major equipment overhauls and system rebuilds
• Maintain and operate tools and machinery safely, including lifts and forklifts
• Document maintenance activities in the Maintenance Management System
• Collaborate with production and external contractors to minimize disruptions
