The role requires 2+ years of retail grocery and 2 years of supervisory experience, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will manage inventory, displays, rotation, and safety compliance while supporting team growth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take directions in a team environment.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Be able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment and maneuver items within specified weights.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards and maintain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor bakery product quality.
• Unload and sort store deliveries and maintain deli equipment.
