Job summary

The role requires an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience, with 5 years of hotel or retail baking experience and supervisory duties preferred. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume hotel or retail baking is preferred.
• Ability to interpret formulas and scale recipes.
• Strong understanding of sanitation, safety, and quality standards.
• Effective communication with team members at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead and direct shift production in the Bakery.
• Guide, instruct, monitor and coach bakers in assigned duties.
• Ensure quality, sanitation and food safety standards are met.
• Provide input for performance reviews and scheduling of personnel.
• Produce a range of baked goods including wedding/custom cakes as required.
