Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) is seeking a Key Hourly Manager to partner with the Bakery Manager in leading daily operations, guest experience, cake production, and merchandising. You will drive sales, ensure compliance with NbC standards, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and team members.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, scheduling, inventory control, and adherence to food safety. Prior guest-facing or lead-role experience in retail or food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates guest focus and strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate a team.
• Leads by example, provides coaching and feedback to staff.
• Manages scheduling, payroll, and daily operational tasks.
• Maintains food safety, health standards, and NbC policies.
• Supports hiring and training of team members and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and models superior engagement.
• Partners with Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, and inventory control.
• Supports recruitment, training, and daily direction of team members.
• Ensures bakery standards, health/safety, and NbC policies are upheld.
• Assists in scheduling, productivity goals, and reporting duties.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts.
• Helps open/close bakery including cash handling.
• Contributes to local marketing efforts and brand events.
• Maintains knowledge of all bakery roles and cross-trains as needed.
