Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 2, Bakery- Ingredient (L7) for the Swedesboro, NJ, 2nd shift to help measure, prepare, and label ingredients, ensuring precise batch production and strong traceability.

You will support GMP and food safety standards, work with the production team, and handle scales, labeling, and documentation. High school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs required; weekend shifts required; hourly pay $21–$22.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of general labor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately document ingredients and mixing data.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to work with computers and operating screens.
• Ability to lift and handle ingredients up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients with accuracy to support consistent, high‑quality batch production.
• Maintain ingredient traceability in accordance with PCE guidelines and documentation standards.
• Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and storage—including refrigerated items.
• Keep prep, wash, cooler, and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with GMP and food safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Mixer, Machine Operator, and production team to support efficient operations.
• Monitor and maintain proper functioning of scaling tools such as weight scales, scanners, and related equipment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time to support compliance and batch integrity.
