Job summary

ShopRite of Northvale is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct and supervise all bakery department functions, teams, and daily operations to meet sales, profit and customer experience goals under the General Store Manager's guidance.

The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to train, motivate, and engage associates. Compensation includes hourly pay in the $17.00–$22.875/hr range and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak English fluently and understand basic math.
• Stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Work with customers and associates to achieve department goals.
• Understand and apply safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department operations and staff.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization per policy.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals and deliver customer service.
• Train and develop team members and monitor performance.
