Job summary

ShopRite of Pennington in Pennington, NJ is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct all Bakery Department functions and lead associates to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience goals under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to train and onboard staff, ensure safety and food-handling standards, maintain product quality, and uphold ShopRite service priorities of safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work with various products.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department operations to meet goals.
• Maintain safety, freshness, and customer service standards.
• Lead and engage Associates to achieve department targets.
• Ensure proper labeling, stocking, and display in the bakery.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
