ShopRite of Sayreville in Parlin, NJ is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct all bakery operations and supervise associates, driving sales, customer experience, and department performance under the General Store Manager. The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and hands-on participation in daily tasks.

Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with benefits including vision, dental, life insurance, 401k and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English and understand basic arithmetic.
• Physically able to stand, walk, lift up to 60 lbs and work in varied temperatures.
• Able to operate basic computer systems and store equipment.
• Able to supervise and develop bakery Associates.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Bakery Department operations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with HAACP and food handling.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote promotions.
• Lead and engage Associates to achieve department goals.
• Maintain department appearance and display standards.
• Monitor inventory, pricing, and workflow.
