Job summary

ShopRite of Netcong seeks a Bakery Manager to direct and supervise all Bakery Department functions and staff. You will lead associates to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience goals in alignment with company priorities.

Responsibilities include equipment safety, product quality, training, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. This full-time, on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department operations and staff.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals in sales and customer experience.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain proper staffing and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Support onboarding, training, and performance feedback for Associates.
