Job summary

ShopRite of Montgomery in New Jersey is seeking a Bakery Manager to supervise all functions of the Bakery Department and its associates, driving sales, customer experience, and department engagement under the Store Manager's direction.

You will uphold safety and quality standards, train and onboard staff, maintain schedules, manage inventory, and ensure proper product presentation, pricing, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math and use store systems.
• Ability to supervise and lead department staff.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work with fresh/dry/processed products and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Bakery Department.
• Lead associates to achieve department goals and customer service excellence.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the bakery area.
• Ensure proper product presentation, pricing, and inventory controls.
